Work has started on the refurbishment of a section of the Long Range glasshouse at Clumber Park in Worksop.

The east range has been closed for three years but is set to be restored after a £49,300 grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Some rotten timber will be replaced and iron work renewed and work will completed later this year.

Chris Margrave, Clumber Park’s Head Gardener, said: “Having the glasshouse restored to its former glory will be a real bonus for the garden here at Clumber.”
