This is the shameful face of woman who robbed a pensioner in her own home.
Elizabeth Ness is serving a four-year jail sentence after pleading guilty to robbing the 79-year-old woman on November 12 last year.
She knocked on the victim’s door that evening and asked for a glass of water.
When the woman let her in, Ness threatened her and demanded money.
The victim gave her a small amount of cash and she left the house, in The Bunglaows, Chesterfield.
Ness, 32, of Pevensey Court, Newbold, was sentenced at Derby Crown Court at the end of last month.
