Mystery over tea rooms

THERE's some mystery as to why the Curator's House Tea Rooms, Botanical Gardens, have not re-opened since the last tenant's lease expired at the end of November.

I was a regular customer until its closure and enjoyed 10 years of quality food and service. The tenants truly put Sheffield on the map.

I understand that the lease was put out to tender after its 10-year term. Why, after a winning combination? Why has the council allowed the premises and toilet facilities to remain closed for almost seven weeks?
