POLICE were last night searching for clues following the discovery of a body at farmland in Everton, near Bawtry.
The body was found by a passer-by in Middlecross Lane, between Harwell Sluice Lane and Everton Lane, on Saturday afternoon.
Det Chf Insp Phil Cox, leading the probe, said: “Detectives will be making inquiries in the area but if you have any information you believe to be of relevance please contact the incident room on 101, extension 817 1520, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
