Re your article, page 3, Saturday, September 26, about car insurance for Marjorie Neal and her premium now of £700.
The whole sorry mess of insurers ripping motorists off at renewal time apparently is well known by motoring journalists.
I have just proved it myself, with an even higher premium than Marjorie’s.
Some of the costs are related to age – there seems to be some argument where some insurers state the older driver is a safer driver and some say not?
I suggest that Marjorie shops around like I have, and no, I don’t have the internet, but I persevered and saved myself £200.
I think that proves a point.
