OXFAM is appealing for Sheffield bands and musicians to get involved with the Oxjam Steel City Takeover - the charity’s citywide music festival.
The festival takes place on October 14 with the aim of raising money to save lives around the world.
It has run every year since 2007 and money raised from previous events has gone towards building emergency shelters and classrooms in some of the world’s most impoverished places.
It is being organised by music loving volunteers who hope to showcase the best of the city’s talent in several unconfirmed venues.
Rich Ripley, Steel City Takeover manager, said he was determined to make Sheffield’s event one of the best.
