POLICE were last night still questioning a 27-year-old man over the murder of a Barnsley dad shot dead in his home.
Lee William Gray, aged 32, of Greenwood Avenue, Worsbrough, was killed in the early hours of Saturday. Worried neighbours claim his toddler son was asleep beside him.
A man in his 30s, arrested on Monday, has been released without charge.
Police today confirmed Mr Gray was involved in a car crash hours before he was killed. West Yorkshire Police are investigating the collision in Newmillerdam, Wakefield. A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “We have not yet established whether the road traffic collision has any connection.”
