Politicians put their best foot forward to raise cash for a Sheffield charity.

Labour’s four local MPs, Paul Blomfield, Meg Munn, David Blunkett and Clive Betts, collected more than £2,500 after taking part in a Red Rose Relay Walk.

The fundraising stunt last month was organised to raise cash for the St Wilfrid’s Centre for the vulnerable and socially excluded, which plans to build a residential unit for people in the city. St Wilfrid’s director Kevin Bradley said: “A huge thanks for their help.”
