A Sheffield MP is hosting more than 50 events this month in a bid to find out about residents’ priorities.

Paul Blomfield’s The Big Conversation programme includes meetings in churches, coffee shops and businesses.

The first event starts at 2.30pm on Friday, September 12, at Vittles Cafe in Broomhill, and the last is on October 6.

Mr Blomfield, who represents Sheffield Central, wrote in a leaflet to residents: “Your views, ideas and priorities shape my work as your MP.

“They help me to do my job and represent you in Parliament.

“That’s why I make real efforts to stay in touch all year round.

“In September and October I have organised The Big Conversation so that I can listen to you and find out what you think.

“It’s also so you can hear about my work and my priorities. I hope you can come and join me at one of the meetings and events.”
