Motorway closed by smash
MOTORISTS were being diverted off the M180 near Doncaster this morning after a road smash closed the motorway.
The crash happened on the eastbound carriageway near Hatfield Woodhouse - between junctions 1 and 2 of the M180.
A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said the motorway had been closed at Junction 1 and all traffic was being diverted off the motorway.
It is not known how long the diversion will be in place.
