MOTORISTS are warned of roadworks disrupting traffic around Sheffield this weekend.
Ongoing projects involve temporary signals on Harborough Avenue, Manor, until tomorrow, and lane closures on Sheffield Parkway, approaching junction 33 of the M1, until 6am on Monday.
There are lane closures on Clarkehouse Road, Broomhill, until Monday.
Roadworks tomorrow involve temporary traffic lights or stop-go boards on Birley Moor Road, Birley; Brocco Bank, Hunters Bar, Abbeydale Road, Millhouses; Holme Lane, Hillsborough, from midnight-5am; Manchester Road/Shore Lane, Crosspool; Moor Valley, Mosborough; Nile Street, Crookes; Stannington Rd, Stannington; Glossop Rd, Broomhill; and Wordsworth Ave, Parson Cross.
There will be lane closures on Ecclesall Road, Arundel Street, Howard Street, Paternoster Row and Pond Street, in the city centre; Hillsborough Corner and Halifax Road, Parson Cross.
Road closures will affect Cambridge Street, in the city centre; Cross Street, Ecclesfield; Endcliffe Vale Road, Endcliffe; and Shay House Lane, High Green.
Loxley Rd, Malin Bridge, will be one-way towards Loxley from Holme Lane to Wisewood Lane.
■ Motorists are advised to avoid the A630 Rotherway between 6.30am and 7.30am tomorrow.
It will be closed for up to 15 minutes at intervals for urgent maintenance on power lines.
