A motorist aged 64 has died after a car crash in Chesterfield.
The collision, which involved three cars, took place shortly before 1.45pm on Wednesday on the A632 at Slack Hill, near the junction with the B5057.
Police, paramedics and the air ambulance attended.
The driver of one of the cars, a 64-year-old man from Chesterfield, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family has been informed.
Part of the road remained closed while collision investigators carried out initial enquiries.
