Motorcyclist seriously injured in Rotherham

Police want to hear from witnesses to a collision which left a motorcyclist seriously injured.

The 32-year-old man was riding a white Sym Jet4 along Aldwarke Lane, towards Parkgate, Rotherham, when he was involved in a collision with a silver Suzuki Ignis, which was also travelling in the same direction

Emergency services were alerted to the collision at 5.50am on Tuesday.

The motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or the driving of either vehicle prior to the collision.
