COMMUNITY groups, charities and organisations are being offered a helping hand to help them through the UK’s difficult financial climate.
The Third Sector Cafe is a recently-established network to help bodies in Sheffield affected by reduced funding and government cuts.
Businesswomen Sophy Hallam and Laura Lashmar set up the group after recognising a need for agencies to meet, discuss problems they are having, and share advice. It is open to Sheffield-based not-for-profit, voluntary, faith or community organisations and local charities.
The group meets at Harland Cafe, John Street, Sheffield, on the third Thursday of every month from 4pm until 6pm. The event is free and features guest speakers.
