POLICE say they are no longer looking for a missing Sheffield woman after a body was found last night.

Edale Mountain Rescue Team and police recovered the body from the side of Ladybower Brook in Derbyshire on Friday evening.

Police say the body was that of a 68-year-old woman and there are no suspicious circumstances.

Earlier in the week police appealed for help in the search for Pamela Bailey, 68, who was last seen by staff at Northern General Hospital in Fir Vale last Saturday at around 6.15pm.

Keen walker Ms Bailey, from Stowe Avenue, Millhouses, was last seen wearing a green blouse and dark trousers.
