Police believe a teenager missing from her Sheffield home may be with a man she knows.
Officers are treating the disappearance of Erika Kacicova as a ‘critical incident’
The 13-year-old girl was last seen at about 4pm on Monday when she left her family home at Poole Road, Darnall.
She is thought to be with a man, who is known to her, possibly in the Bradford area.
“We still have a number of enquiries to make, but we believe Erika may now be in West Yorkshire with an adult male,” said Acting Detective Inspector Wallace Chambers, of South Yorkshire Police.
“We have circulated her photograph to officers and CCTV operators there in the hope that she can be traced.
“But we’re also urging Erika to make contact with her family or police officers just so that we know she is safe and well. Ideally we need her to return home as soon as possible.”
Erika, who has gone missing previously, is described as being around 4ft 11ins tall, Eastern European, of slim build, with long, dark-brown, straight hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, pink polo-style shirt and a silvery-grey coloured jacket.
