Missing man with psychotic disorder has links to Sheffield

A man with a psychotic disorder who has gone missing from a care home has links to Sheffield.

Ghodratollah Barani, aged 31, was last seen on Thursday, May 11 at his care home in Hill Road, Croydon, London.

He is a resident at the care home, where he is receiving treatment for a psychotic disorder.

Police officers investigating his disappearance have described it as 'out of character' and said they are 'extremely concerned for his welfare'.

Mr Barani, who is from Afghanistan, requires medication, which he has not taken with him.

He is 5ft 6ins tall, of a medium build and has a broad face. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a green hooded top.

Anyone who sees Ghodratollah should not approach him, but call 999 immediately.

South Yorkshire Police said he has links to Sheffield.
