A Barnsley teenager reported missing from home has been found in Scotland.

Martina Lee Price, aged 15, was last seen at around 10.30am on Saturday leaving her home address.

The teenager, who is known as Tina, said that she was going to her local Co-op but did not return home.

It is thought that she could be trying to travel to Ireland with a man.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “Officers have received information that Martina could be trying to travel to Ireland and is the company of an adult male.

“It is also possible that she will travel via the Edinburgh area but this has not been confirmed.

“Martina’s family members, along with officers, are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare and urge anyone who has seen or heard from her to contact police.”

She is white, around 5ft 1ins, with brown eyes and long, brown hair with blonde ends.

She was last seen wearing a grey top with the word ‘pink’ written on it, black and grey shorts and red Nike trainers.

Anyone with information should call South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident 1,279 of May 7.
