“Every town and village has a responsibility to approve new housing developments,” says Planning Minister Greg Clark.
He goes on to say that it is a myth that all communities are dead set against all developments,.
If he and his lot really believe all that specious nonsense, why on earth go to all the trouble of reforming planning regulations and seemingly making it impossible for any council to turn down applications.
What’s the betting they haven’t seen their havens transformed into concrete jungles? I wonder if Mr Clark will give a lead by reversing their ‘not in my backyard’ hypocrisy?
