Bosses at a factory have apologised to neighbours after a blaze yesterday morning.
Fire broke out in a yard at the SCA paper mill on Goytside Road, Chesterfield. The site was evacuated of all employees but some nearby homes had to be ‘monitored as a precautionary measure’ while the fire was fought.
A spokeswoman said: “SCA apologises to local residents for any concern this may have caused. A full investigation will be carried out into the cause.”
