Mid-terraced home set alight in arson attack in Sheffield

A house was badly damaged in an arson attack on a Sheffield street.

The mid-terraced property in Popple Street, Page Hall, was set alight on Saturday.

Firefighters received reports of the blaze at 4.20pm on Saturday and when they arrived flames had spread to the eaves of neighbouring homes.

The property where the fire started was unoccupied at the time.
