TWO Sheffield men have been seriously injured in a crash between a car and a lorry.
The men, aged 59 and 49, were travelling in a silver Ford Fiesta which turned from Albert Terrace Road onto Penistone Road at about 11.10am last Friday. Police said the driver of a red and white Scania lorry travelling towards Hillsborough then failed to stop at traffic lights, and ploughed into the Fiesta mid junction.
The older man suffered a broken collarbone and collapsed lung. The younger man sustained broken ribs.
The lorry driver, a man aged 50 from Bradford, was unhurt.
Police are appealing for witnesses. Call 101 quoting incident 340 of March 2.
