Concerned residents will meet tomorrow to discuss the future of Meersbrook Hall and Pavilion.

The Friends of Meersbrook Hall and the Pavilion, off Brook Road, was formed in June amid concerns about the building once Sheffield Council’s parks and countryside department moves out.

The group, made up of members of local organisations including Friends of Bishops House and Meersbrook Park Users Trust and interested residents, wants to work with the local authority to secure its future within the community. A survey will also be released by the group on its website – www.meers
brookhall.org.uk – to gauge opinion.

The public meeting is at St Paul’s Church, on Norton Lees Lane, Norton Lees, on Tuesday from 7.30pm to 9pm.
