Toy stories don’t get better this - especially if you are Star winner Emily Turner.

The seven-year-old won has all the top TEN toys on Santa’s list thanks to a little help from her gran Anne Taylor

Emily, who attends Grenoside Primary School, saw the competition in her gran’s copy of The Star and asked for help to enter our free draw.

She gave her enveloped a special kiss as they posted it together, marked from Grandma for Emily.

And her wish came true when The Star pulled her name out of the draw and then delivered all the toys to her gran’s house.

Our sack full included a Zoomer Dino- Boomer, Transformers T Rex, Frozen Anna Doll, My Friend Cayla and a Kidizoom Smart Watch.

We also gave away a Toot-Toot Animals Safari Park, Bop It! Beats, Little Live Pets Bird Cage, Minecraft Figures, assorted and Lego Minecraft Farm.

The total value came to more than £400.

The so-called Dream Toys - the most popular set to dominate sales this Christmas, were chosen by a panel of leading UK retailers and unveiled by the Toy Retailers Association at Meadowhall Shopping Centre.

The toys for our competition, donated by the Association itself, are available from all good toy shops, including the Toys R Us branch now open at Meadowhall.

Anne, aged 64, of Cross House Road, Grenoside, a retired Grenoside Primary School dinner lady, married to ex-steel worker George, 66, said: “Emily called to see us and saw this amazing competition in The Star. She asked if she could enter and I helped her. She didn’t think she would win. But wow. Look at all this,

“It shows that you’ve got to be in it to win it, We’ve had The Star delivered all our married life, for 45 years and we’ve won things in the past. But now Emily is following in our foosteps.

“What a great prize.”
