St Luke’s Hospice is set to receive in excess of £100,000 in donations through a link-up with Meadowhall.
The Sheffield-based shopping centre has announced that the adult hospice will be its charity of the year for the second year running.
Centre director Darren Pearce said: “We’ve had a wonderful year raising thousands of pounds for St Luke’s and hope to raise even more this year so that they can continue to offer support to patients and family members in the local area.
“Highlights from last year have to be the Sheffield to Paris bike ride. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas Jumper world record attempt which saw hundreds of shoppers donning their novelty knitwear for the cause.”
