Three men wearing masks robbed a ‘shocked’ family in their own home.

Around 7pm on November 12 three men entered a property on Tickhill Road.

The suspects stole cash, jewellery, and a white Land Rover Discovery vehicle with the registration number YT61 WMF. The jewellery taken consisted of two yellow gold rings; a diamond and sapphire engagement ring and a cut leaf wedding band.

The men, who were all wearing masks, are described as white, in their 30s with local accents. An investigation is underway and officers are following a number of lines of enquiry. The family were not injured but were left shocked by the incident and are continuing to receive support from specialist officers.

Detective Constable Joanna Glaves, who is leading the investigation, said: “While this property is in an isolated location, we would still like to hear from anyone who was in the area around 7pm on Thursday evening and heard or saw anything suspicious.

“We are also keen to hear from anyone who may have been offered jewellery matching the description above or has seen the Land Rover Discovery since Thursday.

“I can reassure residents in Maltby that we are treating this investigation as a prioriy and are continuing to follow a number of lines of enquiry.”
