MARTIAL arts masters Strike celebrated their first year in business with a thrilling high-energy demonstration of street dance and martial arts moves.
The Strike HQ Excel Academy was set up last year by dynamic duo Liam Richards and Danny Ball, who hit the headlines when they reached the finals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2008.
The boys and their students stunned visitors at Crystal Peaks shopping centre with their dizzying display of energetic stunts.
Liam Richards said: “It was a great day to celebrate our one year anniversary.
“Our first year at the academy has been amazing and we have inspired and motivated many people through martial arts and street dance.
“We have educated children and adults about nutrition and anti-bullying, but most of all developed confidence in people from our community.
“Our educational, character development system has enhanced the local community and made people feel fitter, healthier and happier.”
The lads offer martial arts and dance training programmes in karate, kickboxing, ladies kickboxing, mixed martial arts, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, self-defence, street dance, break dance and even cheerleading.
They also deliver school workshops which teach life skills, nutrition, health and fitness with an anti-bullying message at their centre on Holbrook Industrial Estate, near Crystal peaks.
