AN ANNUAL Christmas market to raise funds for orphans is to take place again this year.

The event raises funds for Annie’s Orphans which looks after children in Pakistan and Uganda.

The charity was set up 12 years ago by Pastor Pauline Edwards and has two shops, in Handsworth and Aston.

As well as helping orphans abroad, it provides valuable work experience and qualifications for volunteers in Sheffield.

The fair is at Bethesda Pentecostal Church on Mansfield Road, Swallownest, from 11am until 3pm this Saturday, November 17.

There will be homemade cakes, crafts and jewellery for sale, and refreshments will be served.

Admission is 20p.
