A CCTV image has been released of a man wanted over thefts from Sheffield gyms.
He is believed to hold vital information about thefts from two gyms, where bank cards and car keys were stolen.
In one of the incidents, an attempt was made to steal a Mini Cooper from a gym car park.
A gym in Napier Street, Sharrow and another in Spital Hill, Burngreave, were targeted.
A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: "Using a day pass for a gym in Napier Street, a man is said to have stolen a number of items, including bank cards and car keys from lockers at the gym. He has then proceeded to steal a grey Mini Cooper from the car park.
"Officers believe the offender then drove to the Tesco superstore in Spital Hill and allegedly used the stolen bank cards to buy items from the store.
"After an investigation was launched, officers discovered that the same offender is thought to have obtained another pass for a gym in Spital Hill and again, allegedly taken a number of items from the lockers, including bank cards, to buy items in Tesco.
"The offences are said to have been committed in January of this year.
"Following extensive enquiries, including work with other police forces, officers have released a CCTV image of a man they believe could hold important information."
