Police are appealing for witnesses after a car was damaged.

The Volkswagen Golf was parked on a lay-by close to the Royal Oak pub, on Derby Road, Old Tupton, at about 3.15pm on Wednesday, November 19 when the crime happened.

A man – described as white, 5ft 8in tall and wearing a dark coloured jumper – is believed to have used a brick to damage the silver vehicle.

Anyone with any information about the incident or who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area is asked to contact PC Matt Rodda on 101, quoting crime number 49832/14.
