A 47-year-old man has been left with facial injuries following an altercation with two men on a North Lincolnshire street.

The man suffered cuts to the neck and ear following the incident which took place in Scunthorpe’s Frodingham Road.

The incident happened between 4.30pm and 4.45pm on Saturday, July 30, close to a butcher’s shop, where the 47-year-old victim was approached by two men.

One asked him the whereabouts of another man. Both assaulted him when he was unable to tell them.

The first suspect is described as being white, of medium build, around 6ft 3in tall, with short, dark brown hair.

The second was also white, in his 30s, of slim build, around 6ft 3in tall with blonde hair.
