An appeal has been launched after a man was found in a park with serious, life-threatening head injuries.
Police were called after the man, aged 53, was found in Bradgate Park, Rotherham at about 10.50pm on Wednesday night with serious head injuries.
The man has been taken to hospital and remains in a ‘serious and potentially life-threatening condition’.
South Yorkshire Police Detective Sergeant Claire Moss said: “The man currently remains in hospital in a serious and potentially life-threatening condition.
“I would like to ask that anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious to come forward so that we can establish what happened in this incident.
“If you have any information that could assist with our enquiries, please call 101 and quote incident number 1176 of 10 August.”
