A man suffered life threatening injuries when he was struck by a car in Sheffield.
The 24-year-old was involved in a collision with a silver Peugeot 306 on Holywell Road, Brightside, at around 4.35pm on Sunday.
Police said the collision occurred just before the Railway public house and the vehicle involved crashed into a wall.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital, where his condition today is described as critical.
The driver of the car, a 23-year-old man, and his passenger, a 30-year-old man, suffered serious injuries.
