A man injured in a Rotherham shop who later died from his injuries fell while he was working, it has emerged.
The 58-year-old, from Keighley, West Yorkshire, who has not yet been named, was working as a sub-contractor at Iceland on Sycamore Road, when he fell.
It is understood he was working on a filter system at the time of the accident.
He was rushed to Rotherham District General Hospital but later died.
Rotherham Council’s environmental health team is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death and an inquest will be held.
