A MAN died after plunging from the top of the John Lewis store in Sheffield.
He was discovered in Burgess Street, near the ramp leading to the store’s multi-storey car park, by a patrolling police car at 10.30am yesterday.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The road was closed while the emergency services recovered the body.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said the man was believed to be aged in his 50s and from West Yorkshire.
He had not been formally identified.
