The Magna Centre is welcoming visitors back after winds tore off part of its roof in December and forced it to close.
The science adventure centre in Rotherham reopened yesterday after the repair works were completed.
Education manager Stuart Ballard said: “We are sorry we had to close but safety of our visitors is paramount. One silver lining of the closure is that it has given us the chance to make a few improvements, a lick of paint here and there, and some repairs to the exhibits.”
The centre already has some major events in the diary this year, including a real ale festival, dance performances and the Yorkshire International Business Convention.
The centre is open from 10am to 4pm. In school half term, the hours will extend to 10am to 5pm.
