The legal eagles have flown the nest – and now this former magistrates’ court in Chesterfield is up for sale at auction.

Grade II listed Knightsbridge Court, between Rose Hill and West Bars in the town centre, covers more than 21,000 square feet.

The vacant property is being offered by auctioneer Eddisons at a guide price of £400,000 to £425,000.

Simon Bailey, director and auctioneer at Eddisons, said: “This is a well known and sizeable property in a prominent location. It may well suit alternative uses, subject to planning consents.”

The auction is in London at 12.30pm on December 10. View the catalogue at www.eddisons.com/auctions.
