HAIRDRESSER Rachel Foster has scooped a Christmas jackpot – for a snip.

The stylist won the £2,000 first prize in the Sheffield St Luke’s Hospice Lottery.

Rachel, who works at Snoopy’s Hair Design in Chapeltown, is a long time St Luke’s supporter and close friend Jan Ambler was supported there as she battled cancer.

She plans to use the money towards a family skiing holiday.

“I feel like this was Jan looking down on me, that she gave me this money for Christmas!” said Rachel as she collected her prize.

Visit St Lukes Hospice to sign up for the hospice lottery, which has a guaranteed weekly £2,000 prize and a rollover which can reach as high as £10,000.
