Firefighters had to free a dog that became trapped under a portable cabin.

The canine's curiosity almost got the better of it after it got stuck under the temporary building in Worsborough Common, Barnsley, on Friday morning.

A South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue officer stepped in and managed to free the poor pooch.

Posting on their Facebook page the fire service said: "Well done to everyone involved. The dog is now safe and well."
