Sweet Staffordshire Bull Terrier Lilly is hoping to sniff out a loving new home where she can blossom into the perfect pet.
The lovely-natured pooch was taken in at the RSPCA Sheffield branch following a cruelty investigation and after lots of love and reassurance she is now ready to be rehomed.
RSPCA Sheffield branch animal care manager Tony Benham said: “Lilly is an enthusiastic and bouncy girl who is packed full of personality.
“A real charmer, she is full of fun and very playful but once she has settled down, she enjoys cuddles with people that she knows and trusts.
“At about four-and-a-half-years-old, Lilly, who is a beautiful brindle Staffy, has no known health problems.
“Although Lilly is generally polite when walking around other dogs, she does not always enjoy being in the company of other canines so we believe she would be much better suited to being an only pet in her new home and it would give her the chance to shine.
“If her new home has children, we would prefer them to be older teenage children.”
Lilly is neutered, inoculated, vet checked and dental checked and she will leave the centre with one month’s free pet insurance.
