SHE’S a real lady - introducing Lizzie, a regal Rottweiler cross, with a cute buttoned nose and inquisitive eyes.
With her bubbly, steady and loving personality, she can’t wait to meet someone and persuade them to be the new person in her life. And you can meet her at the RSPCA Animal Centre in Stadium Way, Attercliffe.
RSPCA Sheffield Branch animal care manager Tony Benham said: “Poor Lizzie, with her beautiful black, tan and brindle coat, came into our centre quite underweight to the extent that her ribs were showing, which was really shocking.
“But, now, she’s been nurtured back to a good weight and she’s blossomed into a gorgeous dog.
“She will always be slender due to her physique which isn’t quite as full or chunky as a full-breed Rottweiler but we think it suits her and she is very popular with staff here at the centre.
“She has grown into an energetic, bouncy girl, who has no known health problems.”
Lizzie would benefit from some more basic obedience training but she is steady, very eager to please and enjoys learning new things.
Tony added: “Friendly Lizzie loves her walks, playing with toys and lots of cuddles. She is very people-orientated, although at times she is not too keen on some dogs. A home without cats would also be necessary.
“An unfussy eater, Lizzie has a real passion for life and so she would like to join an active home where both her brainy nature and body will get plenty of exercise and stimulation.
“Lizzie has lots of love and light to bring to a new home and we would very much like to introduce this lovely lass to potential new owners and make a perfect match.”
