‘Loud and lovely’ Judy is the latest dog looking for her ‘forever home’ - could she be the pet for you?
The three-year-old German Shepherd Dog originally came to RSPCA Sheffield in June 2014 due to welfare issues.
She was adopted into a loving home but, unfortunately due to a change in her owners’ circumstances, she is back again. Staff are keen to find the ‘playful girl’ a secure home and people who can offer her the stability she craves.
Charity spokesman Adam Spencer said: “Judy is a bright young lady, back with us looking for a third chance of love.
“She is an enthusiastic and playful girl, but she needs some help to adapt to new situations ad she did not have the best start in life and can be protective of her space and the people she trusts at times.
“She can be quite loud and shouty around other dogs sometimes, but once she is relaxed in a home and is comfortable with her handler, she really is much happier and socialises politely with other dogs on walks. She likes her home and family to herself though, so she would rather be the only pet and queen of her castle.
“This amazing lady has come on leaps and bounds in her adoptive home and she is now a much happier girl who knows how great life can be.”
