With wildlife to discover, trees to climb, dens to build and puddles to splash in - this February half term is the perfect time to get outside with the National Trust.
Many Trust sites in Derbyshire are offering family fun days and half term trails around parks and gardens.
And when it’s just too cold to be outdoors, families can come inside and enjoy activities such as dressing up and trails.
Activities on offer include a ‘Wild-Ways Tracker Trail’ at the Longshaw Estate in the Peak District, where for £1 kids can learn tips about how to spot wildlife.
Beccy Speight of the National Trust said: “After the winter months, why not blow away the cobwebs this February half term with a great day out at one of our special places?
“We’ve got plenty of family-friendly trails and activities, the perfect way to spend time together whilst burning off some of that excess energy.
“Children will have an amazing time being little explorers for the day around our magical gardens, parks and woodlands.”
