VOLUNTEERS are needed to help at an awareness-raising event for South Yorkshire music and dementia charity Lost Chord.
The charity will be exhibiting at the Fair’s Fayre event at Magna Science Adventure Centre in Rotherham on October 27.
Lost Chord fundraising manager Tina Harrison said: “It would be great if we could have some extra volunteers at Fair’s Fayre to explain to the many visitors just what we are achieving at Lost Chord and why the public’s support is so vital.
“We also have bucket collections coming up which need volunteers, and even something as simple as going out and selling our new range of Christmas cards could make a great impact.”
For people who want to become more closely involved in musical events, Lost Chord also runs regular volunteer induction days to give new starters an insight into how they can support the charity’s professional musicians as they perform in homes and day centres.
