Cute pooch Snowy was taken in at the RSPCA Sheffield branch along with her siblings after welfare concerns over the dogs’ environment.

But while her brothers and sisters have now gone off to loving new homes, lonely Snowy is still in search of a caring owner.

RSPCA staff looking after Snowy say she will make a loyal companion just like her namesake, Tin-Tin’s cartoon side-kick.

Tony Benham, animal care manager, said: “It’s very sad when dogs come into us through no fault of their own and we hope someone can offer this loyal dog a second chance in a permanent, caring home.

“She is a loving and affectionate girl who is always eager to please.

“Snowy is quite timid around other dogs, although she does appear to be good with them, so a home with another canine companion may be a possibility depending on the outcome of a meet and greet at our centre.”

RSPCA staff say Snowy will need regular walks and stimulated play time when possible to keep her active, happy and healthy due to her working terrier breed line.

Tony added: “Despite her sad start in life, Snowy is sweet, fun-loving and adoring of people when she gets to know them.

“She’s ready to start life afresh with a new owner and to fill their life with plenty of fun, love and company.

“This fantastic girl will make a great addition to the right family.”
