Woman robbed at cashpoint machine

A woman was robbed of cash as she used an ATM in Doncaster in the early hours of the morning.

The 26-year-old was withdrawing money from a machine in Printing Office Street in the town centre at around 4am on Sunday, April 13.

She told police she was pushed in the back after she walked away from the machine, before her cash was stolen by the male robber.

The suspect is described as slim and between 5ft 7ins and 6ft tall.

He was wearing a dark-coloured baseball cap with a light-coloured motif on the front.

The woman said the man appeared to be wearing blue jeans and a ‘distinctive’ sports-style waist-length jacket with light-coloured arms and a dark body.

n Anyone with information about the robbery, or who may have witnessed the incident, is asked to call South Yorkshire Police on the non-emergency telephone number 101, quoting incident number 236 of 13 April 2014. Alternatively, calls can be made to Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
