GRITTERS were out and about last night but freak weather caused treacherous conditions on the roads throughout South Yorkshire this morning.
So called ‘freezing rain’ was reported by weather experts - when rain freezes on impact and covers surfaces in ice.
But many South Yorkshire folk were still blaming the gritters for not doing enough.
