Van blaze was ‘accidental’

FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a burning van on a South Yorkshire road.

The fire was discovered on St Leonard’s Road, St Ann’s, Rotherham, at 3am yesterday and has been logged as accidental.

Crews were also called to a caravan on Laughton Common Road, Laughton Common, Rotherham, after a stove was left unattended.

The fire broke out at 7.30pm on Wednesday while the occupant was out.
