Two sheds torched in Loxley allotment blaze

Two sheds have been torched in a suspected arson attack at the Rodney Hill allotments in Loxley.

Firefighters from Rivelin and Elm Lane were called out at 7.10pm on Friday.

There were slight traffic delays on Rodney Hill while the fires were brought under control. Crews left the scene by about 8pm and the fire is being treated as ‘suspicious’.

n Firefighters put out a small rubbish fire near some garages on Seabrook Road, Norfolk Park, on Friday. The Central crew was called at about 8.50pm and they were at the scene for about an hour.

n The Elm Lane fire crew was sent to a wheelie bin fire on Deerlands Close, Parson Cross, early on Saturday morning.
