Police investigating an incident in which a man was attacked with a broken bottle in Sheffield city centre want to speak to the two men pictured.

Officers have released new CCTV images of two men they believe could hold crucial information about the attack, at around 10.30pm on Saturday, August 9.

Shortly afterwards police received reports of a disturbance outside the ‘Rondevu’ bar on Furnival Gate.

A police spokeswoman said a 21-year-old man was assaulted with a broken bottle further along Furnival Gate outside the Currys store.

The man sustained an injury to his neck and had to be given first aid.

No arrests have been made so far.

Detectives investigating the incident believe the two men in the CCTV footage may hold information vital to the investigation.
